DEPARTMENTS

Research Department

The Research Manager is the head of Research Department. The Research department shall consist of members whose function is to see to finding facts, details and people for the programme department and Academic department.

  • Location Department

    This department is in charge of getting every location ready in case of featuring/shooting of events, programmes and broadcasting. This department also work in conjunction with the news and current affairs department and programmes department.

  • Programme Department

    This department is in charge of production and presentation aspect of INDEPENDENT CAMPUS TELEVISION. Under the programmes department, there is library unit where compact discs, recorded programmes, film promos, advertisements, documentaries (and other audio-visual content), which are to be transmitted are kept, also, for storage after transmission. The editing unit is also part of the programmes department.

  • News/Current Affair Unit

    This is the head of the news and current affairs department. This department is responsible for news gathering and news casting. The department has correspondents who are attached to permanent beats where they report news worthy events that occur in their beats.

  • Adminstrative Office

    This is the head of the administrative office. He/she is in charge of the day to day activities; responsible for hiring and firing staff, promotion, updating of staff records. He/she also monitors the welfare and well being of the staff.
